60th Anniversary Celebration
As we approach our 60th Church Anniversary, we invite our church family to unite in a focused season of prayer. From March 4th through May 2nd, we will embark on 60 Days of Prayer, seeking the Lord together as we reflect on His faithfulness in our past, trust Him for our present, and ask boldly for His guidance in the future.
This intentional time of prayer is designed to strengthen our relationship with God, deepen our unity as a congregation, and spiritually prepare us for both our anniversary celebration and the ministry opportunities ahead. Each day will encourage us to pause, pray, and realign our hearts with God’s purposes for our church.
Devotional prayer booklets will be available in late February 2026 and will provide daily Scripture readings, guided prayers, and reflection prompts to help individuals, families, and small groups participate together.
Let us come before the Lord with gratitude for where He has brought us, faith for where we are, and hope for where He is leading us. May these 60 days be a time of renewal, unity, and spiritual growth for our entire church family.
As we celebrate 60 years of God’s faithfulness, we are launching a $60,000 Anniversary Giving Campaign to prayerfully invest in the future of our ministry. This special offering is designed to strengthen both our physical spaces for ministry and our mission to proclaim the gospel beyond our walls.
Every gift given through this campaign is an act of worship—honoring what God has done and trusting Him for what lies ahead.
Campaign Focus
Renovations & Facility Upgrades – $40,000
These improvements will help create safe, welcoming, and functional environments for worship, discipleship, and community outreach:
Sanctuary Improvements – $6,000
Painting, carpet and pew deep cleaning, and stage lighting replacement
Bathroom Renovations – $10,000
Carpet Installation – $10,000
Hallways, classrooms, and nursery
Parsonage Flooring – $4,000
Church Kitchen Upgrades – $7,000
AED Systems – $3,000
Enhancing safety and emergency preparedness
Missions & Church Planting – $20,000

Our Heart Behind the Campaign
For 60 years, God has faithfully used Cross Keys Baptist Church to proclaim Christ, disciple believers, and serve others. This anniversary campaign is an opportunity to build upon that legacy, ensuring that our facilities support effective ministry today while our missions giving advances the gospel for generations to come.
We invite every member and friend of Cross Keys to pray, participate, and give as the Lord leads—confident that “from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.”
As we celebrate 60 years of God’s faithfulness, we invites you to journey with us through a special anniversary sermon series entitled “To God Be the Glory: Looking Back, Pressing Forward.” From March 29th through May 3rd, 2026, this six-week series will call our church family to remember the Lord’s mighty works, rejoice in His present provision, and press forward with confidence in His future purposes.
Anchored in Ephesians 3:20–21, this series reminds us that God is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine—and that all glory belongs to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations.
Throughout the series, we will be encouraged by messages from former Cross Keys Baptist Church pastors as well as current Metro-area and SBC pastors, each proclaiming God’s Word with a shared focus on His glory, faithfulness, and mission.
