On May 1, 1966, Cross Keys Baptist Chapel started with the first service in the living room of a seven room brick house that today is called the Hamilton House which is still on the property and is used to house missionaries who are on furlough.
In September of 1968, Cross Keys Chapel was officially renamed Cross Keys Baptist Church with 172 members. And then on May 18, 1969, the first worship service was held in their new church building in the worship center with 295 people attending. The present sanctuary was built in May of 1983.
Throughout the years, Cross Keys Baptist has been at the corner of New Halls Ferry Road and Lindbergh in Florissant to serve the neighbors, the state of Missouri, our nation, and the world just as Jesus Christ did nearly 2,000 years ago.
Today, we continue the path that God has laid out for Cross Keys Baptist through the faith and salvation we've received through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
